knowing us completely
an intimate knowing
bringing us into presence
to a place of safety and
rest;
but not a place, truly,
our rest in a person
in the one true God,
Creator of heaven and earth.
God is that resting place
that place of refuge
God is our fortress
in times of trial
in our journey in life;
we can be at peace
in the arms of our Savior,
safe in God’s presence.
our hope in the singular
in a person, not a place
in the One Triune God
Creator and Savior and King
our hope not in the temporal
anything of the flesh
our hope in the singular
the Creator of heaven and
earth.
