Flames of Power

Flames of Power
changing, burning clean
converting the timid
the disciples hiding in the room

Bolding going, out into the world
speaking with power
from the flames burning within

From that room, hidden alone
a church growing
to an end foretold

Flames of power changing the world
living within them, within us
spreading the fire
in the living of the word
