The Words of His Call

In some ways easier
defining his purpose
unlike his followers, disciples,
the words of his call
written in the text, made clear

The words of Isaiah
fulfilled in his reading
his mission, his ministry
all laid out in the words
offering healing, offering hope
setting the captives free
from the chains of their sin
