Blind to His Words

Not able to hear
to see the truth
blind to His words
identifying himself

The Christ before them
the living God
deaf, unable to see
for they did not belong to him

Only some, selected
the flock given to him
only the sheep hearing
the voice of the shepherd

All of us called
to be gathered to him
our choice to listen
of turn from the king
