Ears Open

Unlike those questioning
unable to believe
needing to be told again
he was the Christ

Ears open, eyes to see
hearing the call of our master
leading us on our way
Following him all of our days

Safe in the community
called to be sheep of his flock
and shepherds for his kingdom
leading others to him
as our common, holy commission
