Large Crowds

Even for those who believe
large crowds following Jesus
sitting at his feet
drinking in the word
to those who believed
his lesson continuing
not enough to sit at his feet
needing to go, to witness
to bear his light into the world
leaving our place, our comfort
going as we are called
to serve in his kingdom
to offer God’s love for all
the truth about his coming
