These words of Isaiah
claimed by Jesus that day
in his hometown, Nazareth,
not only fulfilling the
prophets
but the Beatitudes as well
Healing all the people
God Here With Us
the balm of the ancient
words
the Messiah walking the
earth
saving us with his life
Not with armed conflict
victories by the sword
a different Savior
changing the world from
within
by the love of the Lord
The seed of Christ planted
a spark of the Divine
the Spirit within each heart
growing along with us ever
when we walk the way of the
cross
