The words of Isaiah
claimed by Jesus that day
not only fulfilling the prophets
but the Beatitudes as well
Healing all the people
the balm of the ancient words
the Messiah walking the earth
saving us with his life
Not with armed conflict
victories by the sword
changing the world from within
by the love of the Lord
The seed of Christ planted
the Spirit within each heart
growing along with us ever
when we walk the way of the cross
