Not Something He was Taught

The news which we share
the good news handed down
Christ coming into the world
to save all of mankind

Not something he was taught
not written down
revealed by the risen Christ
on the Damascus Road

Changed forever
a sheep of the flock
a messenger of the king
going to the ends of the earth
until all have truly heard
