Sent In Christ’s Name

The Spirit, the Helper
the part of God indwelling
beating with us
in the recesses of our hearts

Sent in Christ’s name
lovingly, by the Father
to help us, abiding,
in the live all our lives

As He promised
Christ while he walked the earth
foretelling of our Advocate
the Spirit descended upon us

Living within each of us
guiding all of our steps
enabling us to walk with Christ
all the days of our lives
