Our ability to do good
at its root from God
only through him
are we able to think beyond ourselves
the seeds of evil
from the moment of our conception
born into a world
where evil stalks the weak
The power is God’s
indwelling within us
his voice calling
his conscience we hear
guiding us ever
if we will listen
conforming our lives as Christ did
to the calling of our Lord
Serving others
loving our neighbor
walking in your ways
only with your direction
only through Christ are we able
doing the work of our master
sharing the love of God
poured out from these pots of clay
into other vessels
