A Vessel of Clay – v2

A vessel of clay, human,

though Son of the living God

the dual nature of Christ

wholly God yet fully man

A willing vessel

His deity poured out

filled with the cup of our sin

taking our stain to the cross

Humbly, as a servant

Immanuel, Messiah

the Lamb, the Sacrifice

God, dying for us
