as when Moses descended
from the holy mountain;
confronting Aaron, the
people,
about their golden idol.
our worship hollow
by the truth before us;
so many struggling but
we don’t really seem to care.
so many suffering
lost in this life, their
journey;
hunger, oppression,
not seeing the light.
we are not Christian
in the truest sense, really;
we are following the path of
Jesus
trusting in God for the rest
