Plastic Prints – v2

pressed into the clay

the marks of the Potter;

God molding our dust

with His hands, with His fingers.

the loops, the arches, the whorls

visible upon me;

in my inmost parts

the ridge patterns visible.

latent prints also

invisible to the naked eye;

but still there written,

God’s hands leaving a mark.
