Our Older Brother is Christ - v2

Our Older Brother is Christ - v2

Thank God for this truth

this reality, this blessing;

our older brother is nothing like

the older brother in the story;

He is happy when we come home.

Our older brother is Christ,

the babe in the manger,

the man who climbed the cross;

He prepares the way

that we may come home.

Christ is joyful, overjoyed

when we come home to the Father;

He gathers with our Father;

He prays for our returning;

Christ greets us on the road.
