Our Older Brother is Christ

Our Older Brother is Christ

Thank God for this truth

this reality, this blessing,

our older brother is unlike

the older brother in the story;

He was happy when we came home.

He was joyful, overjoyed

when we came back home;

He gathers with our Father;

He prays for our returning;

He greets us on the road.

Our older brother is Christ,

the babe in the manger,

the man who climbed the cross;

He prepares the way

that we may come come.
