Before the light fails

Gathering a few more shells,
Slowly walking northward,
Drinking in the sounds of the ocean,
The wind over my left shoulder,
Memories for me to treasure, 
To hold onto when I am far from the water,
Knowing this is one of my last time
On the island, on these sands
That I have loved so well...
