a trap, a snare,
Seeking recognition,
no acceptance, fearing
Their harsh judgement…
 
The fear of man is
a trap, a snare,
Seeking approval,
a judgement, an open mouth,
The maw of oppression…
 
The fear of man is
a trap, a snare,
An opioid for the masses,
actors on the stage,
Seeking fleeting approval…
