Darkness is welling up – v2

Evil has become more pernicious,
In interactions with people,
Language that was once taboo,
Now blurted out freely…
 
Evil is ascendant, rising,
Darkness is welling up,
Coarseness become the norm,
No shame, no filters…
 
Evil on its face, spewing,
Bile from in our guts,
No dog whistles any longer,
Just pure hate…
 
Evil is on the march,
Terror given cover,
Timidity stokes the flames,
No Truth, just opinions…
