We deserve Hell, the pit

We deserve Hell, the pit,
the realm of eternal darkness,
Our sin is an indelible stain,
an awful legacy, against God…
 
But God has redeemed us,
through the blood of Jesus,
We are raised from the dead,
to rise with Him, like Him victors…
 
We deserve the pit, Hell,
but we receive heaven,
Our lives are reborn, restored,
in our risen Lord, Christ…
 
God restores us, reclaims us,
He redeems our connect with Him,
Each Prodigal child is welcomed,
When we turn, when we run for home…
