The fear of man – v2

Centered on self,
on approval of others,
seeking status, praise,
here in the world…
 
The fear of man,
judgement, disapproval,
focused on humans,
not on heaven above…
 
Creating a façade,
an artifice, reinforcing,
an inner voice mantra,
echoes of praise…
 
The fear of man,
only, seeking praises,
cleaving to the flesh,
not to eternal God…
