A song of Mary

A song of Mary,
of the blessed virgin,
the servant-maiden,
who carried our salvation…
 
The Messiah, her child,
grew into His purpose,
she beheld the Messiah,
born of her, a virgin…
 
Mary sang a song,
as Christ’s first disciple,
traveling with Him in ministry
to the cross on Golgotha…
 
The Messiah, her holy child,
become the earth’s martyr,
fulfilling God’s heavenly plan
poor Mary still is weeping…
