The song of #Ukraine – v2

The song of Ukraine
has bled into my spirit
I hear her cries, her prayers,
in the silence of night…

I have come to love her,
her noble, courageous people,
fighting for survival, for independence,
this land, this country, this hope
that the world holds dear…

May a just peace rise from the ashes
for this good and noble people,
may her blue and yellow flag
soar over every rooftop…

The song of Ukraine
on the lips of her people,
beating in their hearts, united,
rising, triumphant, ascendant
after a decade of war…
