I chose to stay with her

I chose to stay with her
though I knew that it was dirty
not the will of God
His plan for my life…
 
I wanted it to be holy
I wanted it to work
but God convicted me,
I had to push her out…
 
I had to let her go
for my own safety, my future,
a way was made for me,
God saved me in that moment…
 
Through my pain, my weeping,
God brought me to His presence,
a new door would open
but I held fast to my will…
