my past is my present

wanting to change
but remaining broken
remaining in the pit of my sin
not yet repentant, turning,
for my new life to begin…
 
too many questions unspoken,
too many things unknown
all bound together, intertwined,
my heart and my spirit,
wanting a place to call home…
