#Escalation – v2 #drones #Russia

They commit escalation, terror, not reprisals,
the daily onslaught continuing unabated,
no retaliation for legitimate self-defense
the drones authorized by international law,
strategic bombers, missiles in the air,
drones released, sent forth, launched,
in premeditated murder, genocide,
glide bombs and missiles, angry,
raining from the air, not indiscriminate
bombings, their waves of troops sent,
into the meat grinder watched by the drones
eyes that stalk them, that defeat their plans…
 
Putin’s strength, his invincibility is a myth,
propped up by his minions, his henchmen,
a charade, the curtain falling, shattered,
propaganda, an illusion, a lie, cracks forming,
the paper tiger exposed for what He is…
a cascade of tensions rising, cracks wider,
lies being caught, the spider web operation,
asymmetric warfare, hybrid acts of justice,
for every war crime, every victim, even on the
streets, justice for everyone that they struck down,
self-defense in unexpected ways, taking the fight
back home, to Mother Russia, to Putin’s homeland…
 
Their escalation, their daily attacks, a rising body count,
All of this will undo them, the cost of his lust, his ego,
the empire in his imagination, relentless, unending,
the madness of the man in the bunker, plotting,
striving to stave off the assassins, to stay in power,
but the dominoes are already falling, the curtain is
about to be opened, Swan Lake will play once again
as his hubris leads to destruction, the collapse of empire,
the nation-state of his fathers will fall apart, shattered,
into a million pieces, no longer safe within the walls,
the gilded walls soon his lonely prison, a hellscape,
merely waiting for the knock on the door, the knife,
that will send him to the pit waiting for him…
