pursue peace

we long for connection,
but we put up dividing walls,
we get angry for no reason,
we take too much to heart…
 
pursue peace, seek it fully,
embrace differences as a gift,
long for harmony, comity,
with all you meet…
 
desire love as you are able,
be at peace with your fellow man,
serve one another as you are able,
conform your steps to the will of God…
