I forgive You God

I forgive You God
though You do not need forgiveness
Your love for me
is without beginning or end…
 
I stepped outside just now
To speak life into the universe
Chains I have carried too long
Have been lifted from my soul…
 
You are enough, Lord,
how I love Your mercy,
You have redeemed me,
You have raised me from the pit…
 
Thank You, God, Spirit,
cutting through the decades,
speaking light into my darkness
Your voice breathed within…
