Hear my cry, oh Father

I am hurting, I am broken
I am separated from You,
I have not felt You with me
in my pain, my brokenness…
 
I have felt abandoned, afraid
when the enemy attacks me
I have carried my pain,
a shame deep within me…
 
Hear my cry, oh Father,
even when words do not come
the prayers deep within me
how I need Your love…
 
I have tried to fill the hole
the ache deep within me
but You alone are the answer
to every prayer I have spoken,
every one left unsaid…
