only God can forgive us

Only Christ’s sacrifice worthy
to pay the awful price
the pain of our sin
that took Him to the cross…
 
God’s law is righteous
His standard is perfection
only Christ could repay
the debt of our sin…
 
Only God can forgive us
our Father in heaven
accepting Christ’s sacrifice
His perfect payment…
 
Only God’s grace
Christ’s mercy in surrender
submitting to God’s wrath
the debt of our sin…
