#sin is #pernicious

sin is pernicious, invasive,
an unwanted seed growing
within the wheat, our hearts,
as we seek to follow the Christ…

sin is quiet, waiting,
hiding deep in the depths,
longing for an opportunity
to separate our hearts from Christ…

sin is ever-present, stalking,
in this world, within our hearts…
We must be ever vigilant,
In our daily walk with Christ…
