Fully God, fully man,
tempted as we are, but without sin,
before the Jordan, His baptism,
before his three years of ministry,
thirty years in this wilderness,
as an infant, as a man,
fully aware of His identity –
Fully God, fully man…
 
Before the Jordan, His anointing,
before that moment on the mountaintop,
ablaze with heavenly light,
before the Dove descended,
the weight of temptation,
full human yet without sin,
Christ now seated in heaven,
Fully God, fully man…
