Christ was spirit until this moment,
just as God the Father and God the Spirit,
together before there was time…
Christ was with God the Father,
with God the Spirit, One…
 
eternity became mortal,
descending into Creation…
God Himself entering time…
Now forever human, eternal,
Seated on His heavenly throne…
 
The Babe that was laid in the manger,
Jesus held in Mary’s arms…
The man who climbed our cross,
who suffered and died for us…
Jesus, who was raised on high…
 
eternity became mortal,
descending into Creation…
God Himself entering time…
Now forever human, eternal,
Seated on His heavenly throne…
