We pick up the stones,
We left by the wayside,
the patterns of our sin
our flesh, our brokenness…
 
We need to turn.
We must leave the stones behind…
We must focus on Christ.
He is the fount of our hope…
 
Our joy is in turning,
conforming our steps
In taking up our cross
in trusting in God daily…
 
As we turn, as we let go,
our steps are lighter…
We must trust in God,
the fount of our hope…
 
We can let go; we can leave
our brokenness behind us…
God promises blessings
to all those who believe…
