He was spirit until this moment,
together before there was time…
Christ with God the Father,
with God the Spirit, One…
 
eternity became mortal,
God Himself entering time…
Now forever human,
Seated on His heavenly throne…
 
The Babe laid in the manger,
Jesus held in Mary’s arms…
The man who climbed our cross,
Jesus, who was raised on high…
