picking up the stones
we have left by the wayside
the patterns of our sin
our flesh, our brokenness…
we need to turn
to leave the stones behind us
we must focus on Christ
the fount of our hope…
our joy is in turning
in conforming our steps
in taking up our cross
in trusting in God daily…
as we turn
our steps are lighter
as we trust in God
the fount of our hope…
we can leave
our brokenness behind us
God promises blessings
to all who believe…
