deep ruts, set patterns,
a way of behaving in stress
all of the ways we suffer
letting go of all else…
 
we must surrender, confess,
we must climb out of our ruts
turning from the way of the flesh,
turning control over to God…
 
deep ruts to follow, to walk,
repeating hurtful patterns
stuck in the mire, the muck,
not letting go…
 
only when we turn, climb,
climbing out of our ruts,
can we find wholeness,
give God out control…
