The Stealth of Her Design – v3

In the early morning dewlight

the stealth of her design

the intricate lattice

the lines and connections

revealed. Ribbons

concentric ovals

rays, lines radiating outward

all of her artistry

a fleeting display

before the warming

bleeding away of the fog

dewdrops into vapor

Her trap, her net

hidden once more

ready for her prey

her breakfast, hidden

just beyond, outside

our bathroom window
