Within the womb of the lilac - v4

Within the womb of the lilac, a kernel of creation

a moment, a truth, beauty if we will see it

all the blooms will ever be alive, waiting, nascent

ready for the sun, the moment, to burst, to bloom;

All compressed, hidden, molded in secret, in darkness

all created, designed perfect by the hand of the Potter.

From their beginning, perfection, from conception, completion,

completeness within each kernel, hidden from view, waiting for the light

for springtime, the right moment, ready to spring to life, to blossom, to grow;

All of the flowers’ lives, each flower, the leaves, the branches, the bunches,

a microcosm, a universe, eternity present, perfection, alive, waiting

already present, emerging, nascent, in the bud before their blooming.

All the complexity of life in the womb of the bud, ready, waiting,

crafted in secret, in darkness, during the long winter, hidden,

the DNA, the code, unfurling, in the completeness of each flower;

All these captured in miniature in the kernel, the infinitesimal,

a kernel of creation, the nucleus of life, or completeness, perfection

already present, emerging, nascent, in the bud before their blooming.
