Dark thoughts

Dark thoughts, ideations,
minds torn asunder, folly,
not knowing what to believe
tormented by our demons
muses of the mind chaos
paths we could choose
not knowing what to believe
fearing we are deceived…
 
Falling for their traps
listening to the sirens,
their songs, their cries
to the sailors, impulsive,
snares of the vixens,
grabbing hold of their spirits
casting them into the waters
no hope for their souls…
 
Dark thoughts, ideations of
spirits that have been captured
lost on the waves, in the snares,
of those who should be forsaken
avoiding their entreaties,
swirling in the flesh, in chaos,
drowning under the waters
pulled down into the deep…
