My #sin drives the nails #crucifixion

I sin, I confess, I repent fully, Lord,
I change my path and turn to You;
But I sin, I fall, again and again,
caught in my flesh, my body,
the pattern of my life...
 
My sin drives the nails that put Christ on the cross…
I was the one who should have been crucified…
I cause the pain of his awful death…
I murder the Son of God
again and again…
 
Every one of my sins is fatal, a capital offense,
causing eternal damnation, sorrow, regret,
loosing the righteous wrath of God…
Every sin I commit, each one, enough,
to send Christ to the cross...
 
Help me, Lord, to turn, to be faithful,
to be Your disciple, Your servant,
to reject Satan, my sin nature…
Help me to honor You, Christ,
for You paid it all...
