when I am lost, wandering,
apart from my Father
in the world, of the world
living by my flesh,
my own understanding...
Defiled by my heart
What comes out of my mouth…

so many years in wilderness,
separated from You, Lord...
Striving with my own strength
living in isolation, alone,
claiming power that isn’t mine
When I need You, Lord…
