the self-righteous
sitting in judgment
over the Law
tarred by their epithets
by who he hung out with
God smeared with judgment
shame in His walk
chided for loving
for seeing on the inside
the inner worth of people
the vision of God
tarred by their epithets
condemned with them
the poor, the outcasts, the sinners
those like all of us
