pearls and jewels of water on the bloom

pearls and jewels of water on the bloom
vibrant, almost pulsing with color
life giving water on the petals, the leaves,
the stems of the lily, the wet rich soil
the living supple flesh sprayed by the droplets
drink it all in, heavy with memory,
present, captured, after a brief shower
