We will rise with the trumpet blast – v2

In a twinkling of an eye, an instant,
Our bodies will be transfigured,
Gravity will not hold us, we will rise,
We will rise with the trumpet blast
Angels calling us homeward,
Our bodies no longer mortal flesh,
Rising to our Savior’s call…
 
Gravity will no longer hold us,
Our flesh will become light, water,
Rising up to heaven, light beings,
to our permanent home, paradise,
The place that has been prepared
Before the beginning of time,
Rising to our Savior’s call…
