Daddy Ray
A turn of the key
The knob opens
From the outside world
To my home
Daddy Ray! Daddy Ray!
They squeal, scream
Drop the drink
Leave Disney behind
Jump up, burst across the room
To my open arms
Bag and baggage dropped
To greet my girls
Each day
When I return
