You are the Messiah, the Christ,
the Son of the Most High God,
the One who was foretold in scripture,
the One who was to come.
You descended from heaven,
You took on human flesh,
fulfilling all holy scripture;
You died to give us life.
You rose to free us
from the bonds of death;
You were the one true sacrifice
offered once and for all time.
