The power of his words – v3

Words to start a revolution,
speaking out against injustice,
the cruelty of the hand that fed him,
that held him in slavery, in poverty,
even when he was able to break free…

The power of his words,
shaking the Tsar, his power,
fear in the crucible of poverty,
singling him out for punishment,
to break him, to break his will…

But he held a singular vision,
subversive, resurgent,
to cry out for his people,
to speak out loud a future,
when they all would be free…

His deep love of his homeland,
never changed or wavered,
even when he was far from
the river, the Dnipro,
he held onto Ukraine…

Not fearing repercussions,
sharing his truth with courage,
A voice against injustice
for freedom, autonomy,
for his people, for Ukraine…

His quest for freedom, justice,
for himself, for his people,
breaking the bonds of serfdom,
a message for the ages, for all people,
but first and foremost, Ukraine…

A voice against injustice
a singular voice in images, language,
calling us down through the ages
steeling the resolve of his people,
his Beloved, his Ukraina…

Channeling Taras – v3

Channeling Taras,
the Bard speaking to me,
the words I have written,
as if from his own hand…

Finding me willing,
a vessel empty,
giving to the power,
of his words, of his love…

Seeking a black-haired maiden,
his true love, Ukraina,
the orphan, the widows,
the Kozaks in chains…

Channeling Taras,
open to his spirit,
to his calling to me,
to once again speak…

Finding the words,
from the air, from the ether,
flying from the steppes,
back to the Dnipro…

Once more he calls me,
from his far-off fortress,
in prisons, in chains,
like his beloved, Ukraina…

Channeling Taras,
being his voice, his witness,
to the bravery of his people,
his nation, fighting for freedom,
for independence from the Moskals…

O, Sing to me, Taras,
Songs of the Kobzars, of glory,
and your ancient truths of freedom,
breathe within my spirit, within me love,
for God, for my fellow man…

O, Speak to me, Taras,
Be a clarion call to purpose,
in words of unity, of struggle, power,
ancient words of scripture, of truth,
and of your homeland, Ukraine…

O, Heal me, Taras, my muse,
Spirit speak right through me,
for I too have been broken,
separated from my purpose,
from my one true calling in life…

O, Sing to me, Taras,
Songs of Ukraina, of glory,
your universal call for justice,
the ancient truths of freedom,
and love for God, for our fellow man…

I hear Taras’ whisper to me… - v3

I keep hearing his name, repeating,
Taras Shevchenko, the Bard of Ukraine,
in my mind, in my vision,
I hear Taras’ whisper to me,
I don’t know yet what he is saying,
but I long to figure it out…

I feel a pull of his presence, his words,
his sorrow for his people, their struggle,
echoing deep within me, in the same way
I felt in the room where Burns was born,
somehow, I feel him calling to me, yes,
as I support his homeland, Ukraine…

Somehow, I sense Bulgakov and Gogol,
want to gather with us in conversation,
something of the truth of Russia, its ethos,
to understand more fully this conflict,
the nations, the passions flowing,
more than what I read each day…

I hear Taras’ whisper to me, calling,
in words I do not yet comprehend,
I long to know, to understand, language,
how I can use my words to support,
to aid, to heal his homeland,
his love, his blessed Ukraina…

Three bards – v3

only dry bones awakened
but the treasure was not discovered
Moskal’s cruelty, their wrath fell upon
the Kobzars, the cursed three bards…

singing this song of misfortune,
praise of their hero, of the broken,
Bohdan was found lying naked,
at rest in an empty tomb…

but the song still soars higher,
ancient treasure remaining, hidden,
Ukraine’s Great Grave cloistered, guarded,
towering on the mountain heights…

I ache for our bond, our coming together,
Looking for your presence, your indwelling,
feeling you with me, in my body, in my spirit,
alive in each moment, each breath I share with you...

How I long to touch you, to reach for you darling,
to draw you to me, in a long soulful kiss,
to bring you with me into our bedroom,
to linger as I undress you to behold your nakedness…

I long to lift you, gathering you to me,
caressing you as I set you, on the bed
like a newborn child, only then, will I
slide beside you, touching your whole body...

Rolling over, into you, my manhood inside you,
rising, and falling, together, pulling you to me,
kissing your lips, my hand dropping, beside
my penis, fondling your clitoris, your vagina...

Feeling our rhythm, our movement together,
longing for our consummation, the pulses of energy,
our halting, panting breath, sliding now more quickly
as I loose my seed within you, moaning with you
as I bring you to climax, to our release...

dropping now, my mouth to your womanhood,
the fount of eternity, there between your legs,
drinking our juices, rising to your lips, sharing

In that moment

I have found it is finding that one spot,
gently, harder, faster, rimming the button,
licking your lips, your womanhood,
touching you, creating a rhythm, a motion,
kissing you deeply, drawing me to you,
pulling you to me, falling inside of you,
not reaching completion, waiting,
controlling the intensity, the motion,
the waves, your flesh rising, tensing,
watching your body's reaction,
listening to your breathing,
to your whispered moans,
to excite you but not finish,
to build to a crescendo,
until you are ready to explode...
that is the key...

Stepping in beside you

Hearing the water running,
seeing your naked body,
water still a little cool,
tiny goosebumps liquid,
stepping in beside you,
kissing you deeply in the rainfall,
lowering myself before you,
hot water washing us,
as I move toward you…

Cupping my chin below you,
lapping your clit, drinking all of you,
our passion washes over us
sensual washing, taking my time,
listening to your body as you react
to my touch, massage oils
once I dry your luminous skin,
caressing every millimeter,
every part of you, inside and out...

Music in the background,
maybe candles, a glass of wine or two,
cellphones off... taking our time together
because that time is precious
exploring our passion, our union,
in multiple positions, a journey,
making you wet, juicy, my flesh engorged,
to have you in throws of overwhelming passion...
ecstasy, is my wish for our life together…

For us to always reach for each other,
romantic, primal passions,
to touch, to caress, to pull one another
closer to us, to each move,
to be as one, one body,
to long for each other in our flesh,
in our spirit, to look for each other,
at each other, across a crowded room
and know our world is complete in each other...

1,000 days, nights,
of evil, of terror,
of endless escalation
by the aggressor, of hate…

1,000 days, night,
our nightmare unending,
the fate of the free world,
surely hangs in the balance…

1,000 days, night,
holding our breath, praying,
for the world to rise, to stand,
with all those who fight for freedom…

1,000 days, nights,
under the threat of terror,
genocide, imperial dreams,
of the man living in the bunker…

1,000 days, nights,
missiles, glide bombs, drones,
no match for the resolve, the courage,
of the united Ukrainian people…

1,000 days, nights,

Seek Wisdom – v2

Go to God when you are hurting,
when you struggle, when you are certain,
when you have only questions,
when you are in despair,
go to God in prayer…

Seek wisdom, the fount of knowledge,
dive into the loving Word of God,
seek justice, as you are able,
don’t fall into Satan’s pit,
go to God in prayer…

Go to the Father, to the Spirit,
pray always in Jesus’ name,
when you only have questions,
when you do not know what to do,
go to God in prayer…

In our life, on our journey,
in each moment, each breath,
whether we are faithful,
or if we turn from God…

God is watching over us,
God, our loving Father,
walks beside us on our journey,
guarding our stumbling steps…

In our walk, on our journey,
God goes with us, beside us,
no matter the path,
the way we choose…

Seek Wisdom

Go to God when you are hurting,

Focus on the divine, the worthy,
on the holy, the righteous,
do what is pleasing in God’s sight,
in every word, in your every action…

Think about what is right to God,
ponder His holy scripture,
seek to be a servant of God,
in every word, in your every action…

Focus on the divine, the worthy,
not things of the earth, this flesh,
strive to live a life righteous, holy,
in every word, in your every action…

the front will be everywhere – v2

фронт буде всюди

If we are not awake, to their terror,
glide bombs, missiles, cluster munitions,
drones, with no fear of reprisals, attacks,
no consequences of their actions,
their crimes against humanity,
their acts of genocide...

We pray, hoping for change, wisdom, resolve,
for eyes to be open, hearts to be ready,
for bravery to match theirs, this people,
courage to serve Ukraine's needs, fully,
to keep the bear from escalation,
from their attacks, scorched earth...

The front line must be all, our stand,
we must give them what they need,
or the front will be everywhere,
every home, every life, everyone,
a target, a victim, a martyr,
a testament to hate, to chaos...

So much carnage, destruction,
lives, history, culture lost,
their bombs destroying life,
while the West dithers, delays,
while they debate, and wait,
asleep in their beds...
