spaces
empty
familiar,
yet forgotten
new
faces where they sat
not
seeming to notice
to
ask where they went
the
names of the members
what
slight had sent them
leaving
this place
to
worship at another
who
would replace them
to
fill the coffers;
a
body dying
too
many dividing lines,
wondering
who
will
save them
