sudden words of inspiration
a jumble, a word salad,
coming unheralded, unannounced,
at inconvenient moments,
sometimes when I am indisposed;
scrawling a phrase, a word
(sometimes on toilet paper),
a sudden burst, a #cadence,
a #rhyme, a #rhythm, a word #picture,
something, anything, to remember, to recapture,
those bits of ether, that gossamer
plucked from eternity, seemingly from thin air.
